I'm totally going off Joey's idea from his blog here, but it's because I actually watched a Vlog today even before I read his piece. Of course a Vlog is when you cross a blog, like what we are doing with video. These can be fun and easy because one you don't have to stress out your fingers with typing and Vlogs seem a bit more personal because it's you on camera adding your own flair. This could be an interesting way to get kids involved in class because some may be quiet so they really don't speak up in class but lets say their journal entries show they have a lot of ideas. To solve this problem you could post a discussion question via your own vlog and then have the class respond via vlog as well. So you have this sort of interactive, online classroom going out side of school. Your are also having them participate in multi modal assessment as you could give points for the number of responses, etc. This also goes along with our most recent lesson in video production and usage.
