May 24...you know, my birthday

"Happy 19th Birthday. Your last year as a teenager-enjoy! Love, Mom & Dad"
     I think it's time to start a new. Stop caring & just let go! There are soooo many things I want to do this summer, let alone year. But let me describe to you the events that made up Miriam Ruth Necastro's 19th birthday...{they are all pretty ridiculous I assure you}

Okay, enter like my best friend from SRU, Andie N. Chakany. She drove up from Pittsburgh the day before my birthday & no joke painted her toe nails while doing so, and then took a picture of the "Welcome to Ohio" sign when she crossed the border. She texted me as she was driving up my street, so I ran out of my house, she ran out of her car & we hugged and screamed for probably 5 minutes. She made me open her gift as soon as I helped her bring her stuff in & I flipped out. She got me a a bunch of OPI nail-polish is some really ahhhmazing colors, but the cherry on top was getting "Mermaids Tears". FREAKING OBSESSED!! FAVORITE! Later we went to my brothers baseball game where she thought the one kid on the opposing team was kinda cute, after I proceeded to inform  her that he was my cousin. This is why Andie is Andie peeps! We left for the mall where she talked me into buying VS yoga shorts, and OHMIGOD they are like heaven in shorts...serious!

*Here is where out tale starts getting ridculous*

Yoga shorts....Pure AHHMAZINGNESS
We just happen to walk by one of the many Eastwood Mall tv's where a special weather report that showed a radar screen full of red & orange covering our area.......crap! I called my dad and asked him what to do and he uttered his now famous response to weather & storms, "Well it's not raining at home." (granted the mall is like 10 minutes from home) As we walk to my car Andie is like panicking & I'm on the verge of panicking which is not a good combo especially when I have to drive us home. We get in Malibu (yes i named my car) & she turns on the weather report....bad idea & no joke Andie starts crying (Andrea, don't deny it) Long story short I saw the nearing wall cloud in my rear view mirror & pretty much out drove a tornado. Pretty badass I know. How did we celebrate? Smashed on pizza, put on our yoga shorts & had a photo shoot in my basement. **exhibit A is above ** This is our friendship, believe me we are crazy. We bought matching Bieber shirts to go see his movie, we have photobooth photo shoots, utter "Oh heyy" when we see a cute guy, we laugh hard, we creep, she calls me "SO white" when I rap along to songs on the radio, and I'm like the only one that she doesn't care when I call her "Andrea." I was soooo incredibly happy when she came to see me in Brave New Plays, it meant ALOT! Our friendship is boss!
We just might be best friends!
The next morning, aka my birthday, I literally could not stop saying "Yaaay! I'm 19!" (This is ME people) After my foolishly scheduled dentist appointment, I had a huuuge luch at Applebee's with my two bestie's Andie & Rachael that included a cookiesNcreme desert shooter & singing, I claimed my free birthday drink at Starbucks, randomly tried on left over Prom dresses at The Winner,  jammed in my car to who else but GaGa & got TONS of love from my facebook friends! Birthdays with facebook are fab because you literally have like a bazillion notifications pretty much all day and that made me smile.
Sometimes my Mum can be pretty damn clever. She picked up my birthday cake after work and by the time i was finished getting ready to go out for my bday dinner she had my Little Mermaid cake sitting on our kitchen table with my presents arranged around it wrapped in none other than Disney Princess paper. I will be the first to admit that I am a 19 year old child, when t comes to stuff like this, and I am quite proud of it! Upon seeing this sight I was quite giddy. **exhibit B to your right**
I had chosen to have my birthday dinner at Red Lobster for two reasons : cheddar bay biscuits & frozen drinks! What else is there?! One thing I love about my Grandma Necastro is that she kinda hordes gift cards. She has been telling me for like the past year and a half  that she wanted to take us out to Red Lobster for me & mum's birthdays because they're a day apart and also because she's had some gift cards. Some is an understatement!! She had enough money in gift cards that covered dinner for the five of us.(Me,Mum,Dad,Grandma,& Augustus) Plus she had money left over! We returned back to the Necastro casa for some pretty deelish Ariel cake & gifts. Back to how damn clever Carrie Necastro can be ; she centered my gifts around The Little Mermaid. Yes once again I know I am a 19 yr old child.
My generous birthday loot. My 13 yr old brother even got
me an Ariel card that sings to me. (I would of loved to have
witnessed that Hallmark purchase!)
   Present number 1: The original Broadway cast recording of The Little Mermaid. I know it's like 2 years late but I am obsessed!  Sierra Bogges is flipping amazing at being a 16 year old & Sherie Rene Scott is a riot, period. And I may have a slight crush on Trevor Braun aka Flounder. Don't judge, he's a cutie! hahahahahahaha
   Present number 2: So I like love Jim Shore carvings. If you have no clue what I'm talking about go to your local Halmark and just ask. I already have a few of his Disney carvings, but this one is super coolness. It's an Ariel carving but she goes with this base that when you set her on it it sings "Part of Your World." Here's the coolness part: It's a universal base, but when you put for example the Belle figurine on it it plays "Beauty & the Beast." Pretty bad ass I know.
  Present number 3 & 4: I was presented with this BEAUTIFUL  blue diamond ring, that matches my earrings and mermaid necklace from easter, and it was resting in the superrrr cute red, glittery, high heeled  ring holder. Mum picked out the stone at her store and had it set in this really pretty, &  carved looking mounting. (Having your mother double as a manager of a jewelry store has definite perks!)

It was my 19th birthday, but there were only 3 candles on the cake....
ummm WTF?!

All in all my 19th birthday was a success. It was filled with best friends, out driving tornadoes, deelsih cake, The Little Mermaid, and the best family a girl could want. (Sorry if you thought your family was the best.) We celebrated memorial day weekend too with my out of town fam, but that is another story. And so begins my 19th year ; my very last a teenager.......HOLY SHIZ!!!!!!!  In the words of Miss Taylor Swift, "Long Live!"
